About Me

Growing up, my mom was the family genealogist, uncovering our connections to heroes of the American Revolution, Texas's fight for independence, and the Civil War. At the time, I was too caught up in daily life to appreciate her discoveries. However, as I got older, I began to understand and value the immense effort she put into her research, especially during an era when records weren't as available as they are today. My curiosity grew as I tackled brick walls and unraveled mysteries within our family tree. This knowledge not only deepened my appreciation for our history but also equipped me to help others uncover their own family stories. Today, I proudly volunteer for an organization dedicated to assisting individuals in identifying their biological parents, whether due to adoption, donor conception, or Not Parent Expected (NPE) situations. As a member of the National Genealogical Society, the Association of Professional Genealogists, and the San Antonio Genealogical and Historical Society, where I also volunteer, I am committed to the pursuit of genealogical excellence and passionate about helping others on their journey to uncover their past.
